Storefloors Taps Industry Veteran Shane Warth for Materials Strategist Position
Atlanta, GA, August 16, 2016—Storefloors—a global flooring resource that specializes in providing value-engineered, custom solutions for retail and hospitality environments—is pleased to announce the hiring of Shane Warth to the position of Materials Strategist, effective immediately.
With a 20-year tenure in various channels of the flooring industry, Warth brings a bounty of knowledge and expertise to the Materials Strategist role. Most recently, Warth served as a sales representative with Italian-tile distributor Happy Floors. Previous to joining Happy Floors, Warth owned two different floor covering enterprises: an Atlanta-based flooring estimating/inspecting business and Flooring America of Dunedin, Florida, a commercial and residential floor covering sales operation.
Storefloors’ leadership became acquainted with Warth while he was working at Happy Floors and found him to be not only a well-informed and highly skilled communicator but also a creative and collaborative problem solver, skills that will serve him immensely in his new role. Warth’s principle task as Materials Strategist is to partner with Storefloors Account Directors in developing flooring programs for prospective clients as well as assisting current clients with strategic changes to their product lines.
“When we looked at Shane Warth’s experience with multiple types of floor coverings and his ability to determine what a customer wants to accomplish, we knew he was an extremely good fit for Storefloors,” says Stephen Scott, President and COO of Storefloors. “Shane’s flooring background and creative ideas will take our product sourcing to a whole new level.”
“I’m excited to be a part of such an impressive group of flooring industry professionals,” remarks Warth. “I’m looking forward to adding my experience to the mix and learning from all of my new colleagues.”
Shane lives in Kennesaw, Georgia with his wife of 21 years, and two daughters. The Warth family is active in the pit bull rescue organization, Friends to the Forlorn. Additionally, Shane, his wife, and Earl Wasserman, Storefloors founder, are all members of the ‘80s cover band Dirty Harriet.
